What the Beepl?!?!

Not another new Q&A forum…” We know what you’re thinking. And by the way, what the **beep** kind of name is Beepl?

What the Beepl?!?!

Beepl is an ‘expertise platform’ that integrates content from Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to generate responses to questions.

According to the website:

“Beepl lets you ask questions that other users answer so that it’s easy for anybody to crowdsource knowledge and opinion. Beepl also understands the topics that questions relate to and users’ interests, expertise and who they know so that questions automatically reach the best people to answer them.

Connect with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn so that topics follow you”

Beepl finds experts on specific topics before the questions are posed and uses a semantic search engine to direct people to the experts regarding the questions they have. This means that the site’s users essentially answer questions for one another.

As chatrooms and ‘formal’ forum sites are used less frequently, sites like Quora have taken off. Beepl’s main objective is to be the forum, but in real time. Just add the #ask hashtag to your questions and they will find their way to the platform.

How do you think Beepl is different from other Q&A sites? We asked on Beepl and the Founder, Steve O’Hear, answered this question only a few minutes after it was posted.
