Social media is always changing and improving. New channels often pop up, are taken in or grow rapidly with new found popularity, recently including Instagram and Pinterest. Now an old social media channel, long surpassed as the social media channel of choice, is undergoing a makeover in the hopes of reinventing itself.
On Monday, Justin Timberlake tweeted about the new Myspace.
Since then, there has been much speculation about this social media channel’s makeover and whether it will be successful. Myspace has launched a beta site where people can find a demo video about what the new Myspace will offer: https://new.myspace.com/
And here’s what Myspace is saying about itself.
“We’re hard at work building the new Myspace, entirely from scratch. But we’re staying true to our roots in one important way—empowering people to express themselves however they want. So whether you’re a musician, photographer, filmmaker, designer or just a dedicated fan, we’d love for you to be a part of our brand new community.”
